Everything you need to know about using MeetDone, and how your data is handled.
MeetDone records meetings, transcribes them, and uses AI to turn the transcript into notes, translations and action items โ so you can stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes.
Recordings save automatically and resume after a call, a dead battery, or the app being backgrounded, so a meeting is never lost.
Long recordings are split into segments and transcribed automatically, with support for multiple spoken languages in the same meeting.
Get a summary, key issues, decisions and action items pulled straight from the transcript โ no manual note-taking required.
Translate the transcript into another language, segment by segment, with progress you can pause and resume at any time.
Pull action items out of a meeting with one tap, then edit, prioritize and track them in the built-in to-do list.
Browse every past meeting by date, with the original transcript, notes and translation always available.
Members can back up recordings, notes and to-dos to their own iCloud account, and restore them on any device.
The app interface is available in English, Chinese and Thai, and can be changed anytime in Settings.
Open the iOS Settings app โ Privacy & Security โ Microphone, and make sure MeetDone is allowed. Restart the app afterwards.
These features call an AI service over the network, so a slow or dropped connection can pause or fail a request. Check your connection and tap Retry โ progress is saved by segment, so you resume from where it stopped rather than starting over. If it keeps failing, make sure an AI service is configured under Settings.
Meeting Time Cards are a pay-as-you-go balance of transcription seconds plus a number of note and translation credits โ useful if you only need the app occasionally. A membership (lifetime or annual) instead gives unlimited notes and translations, plus iCloud backup and restore; transcription still draws from your time balance either way.
Open Settings โ Membership and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID's purchase history and re-applies anything that didn't sync automatically.
iCloud backup and restore require an active membership and a device signed in to iCloud with iCloud Drive turned on. Finish any recording in progress first, then try again from Settings.
Open the meeting, then use the delete options to remove just the audio (the transcript, notes and translation are kept) or the entire meeting record. Deleting a meeting record cannot be undone.
Recording works fully offline, and you can browse past meetings, transcripts and notes without a connection. Transcription, AI notes and translation require network access, since they run through an AI service.

This policy explains what MeetDone stores, what it sends to outside services, and how you stay in control of it.
Recording uses your microphone and stores audio, meeting titles, transcripts, summaries, translations and to-do items on your device. The app also saves your language preferences and processing progress.
When you use transcription, audio segments are sent to the currently configured AI endpoint. For summaries or translation, the relevant transcript and language settings are sent to that endpoint. The current default endpoint is api.vveai.com. The service provider may use additional model providers to process requests. Data retention, use and processing locations depend on the provider's policies. This app cannot promise zero retention or exclusion from model training on the provider's behalf. Please avoid submitting information that is unsuitable for processing by that service.
Only when you initiate a backup or restore does the app write recordings, meeting materials and to-do lists to your iCloud container or read them from it. iCloud is provided by Apple. Deleting records on your device does not automatically delete earlier cloud backups. You can manage cloud data in the system's iCloud storage settings.
Lifetime purchases, annual subscriptions and Meeting Time Cards are processed by the Apple App Store. The app uses transaction information verified by Apple to determine membership status, expiration and revocation. It does not access payment card details. Restoring purchases requests Apple to synchronize your purchase entitlements.
You can delete meeting records and recordings in the app and manage microphone and iCloud permissions in system settings. Existing materials are not automatically deleted when membership expires. Uninstalling the app removes its local container; cloud backups must still be managed separately. Requests to delete data already sent to an AI service must follow that provider's policies.
